Job summary

Themetech International (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Kulim Hi-Tech Park team in Kedah. This contract position offers a dynamic environment to apply expertise across design, coordination and documentation.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in design, simulation and testing. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in technology/manufacturing.
• Proficient in electrical design, simulation and testing using industry-standard software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with electrical, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Design Support from concept to construction.
• Prepare and update electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Review electrical designs and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Provide Technical Coordination & Site Support, liaising with site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions and method statements.
• Monitor site progress and report delays.
• Documentation & Reporting: prepare reports, meeting minutes and maintain drawings and revisions.
