Job summary

Dialog Group Berhad is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer in Malaysia to produce electrical design deliverables and coordinate with multiple departments. The role involves managing electrical packages such as switchgear, transformers, UPS, and other bulk materials, including MR/TC/TE review and FAT processes.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 6 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work under high pressure while maintaining quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (CGPA 3.30+ preferred).
• Min. 6 years relevant working experience.
• Hardworking with good attitude.
• Able to work under high demanding/work pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical design deliverables: basis, specs, data sheets, calculations (power/lighting loads, cable sizing, UPS sizing).
• Develop engineering design and coordinate with other departments on design work.
• Manage electrical packages (33kV/6.6kV switchgear, LV switchboard, transformer, MV VFD, motors, EDG, UPS, DB and other bulk materials) incl. MR/TC/TE and FAT.
• Respond to technical queries from construction site; participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

• Able to work independently to produce Electrical design engineering deliverables for electrical design basis, specification, data sheet, calculation (power system study, lighting calculation study, load list, cable sizing, UPS sizing, all other electrical equipment sizing).
• Develop engineering design work based on requirements and coordinate with other departments on the design work.
• Has experience in managing electrical packages (33kV Switchgear, 6.6kV Switchgear, LV Switchboard, transformer, MV VFD, motors, EDG, UPS, DB and other electrical bulk materials). – including spec, data sheet, MR, TC, TE, VENDOR document review, FAT, and mechanical packages. (at least 4 of the packages above)
• To provide replies to technical queries from construction site, including involving in precom and commissioning activities.
• Candidates is expected to with strong electrical technical knowledge.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, prefers min CGPA of 3.30 and above.
• Min. 6 years relevant working experience.
• Hardworking / good working attitude.
• Able to work under high demanding / work pressure environment.
