Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical installation, operation, and maintenance. You will review designs, lead troubleshooting, and coordinate with ST, TNB, BOMBA, consultants, and local authorities to ensure compliance and safe operation.

The role requires at least 5 years in electrical power systems, experience with BESS, EV chargers, solar, and MV/LV systems, and the ability to prepare and review SLDs and technical documents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a registered professional engineer (Electrical) with BEM.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power systems/energy sector.
• Experience with BESS, EV chargers, solar, MV/LV systems.
• Familiar with ST, TNB, BOMBA and local authority requirements.
• Experience in electrical testing & commissioning.
• Ability to prepare and review SLDs, drawings, and technical documents.
• Strong communication and coordination with customers, contractors, and authorities.
