Job summary

Hireon is seeking a proactive Senior Electrical & Electronics Engineer to join our New Energy team in Malaysia. The role focuses on electrical engineering for Solar PV, EV charging infrastructure, and Battery Energy Storage Systems, leading system design, analysis, and on-site execution.

You will develop SLDs, wiring diagrams, perform load flow and protection studies, simulate with PVsyst/ETAP/Helioscope, specify equipment, support testing, commissioning, and mentor junior engineers while

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Solar PV, EV infrastructure, or EPCC projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design standards and grid connection codes.
• Hands-on experience with PVsyst, ETAP, Helioscope, AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with ST licensing and compliance.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and occasionally overseas.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior engineers and monitor project progress.

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Senior Electrical & Electronics Engineer to join our New Energy team under the Solar EPCC division. This role focuses on electrical engineering aspects of Solar PV, EV Charging Infrastructure, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and other new energy projects. The successful candidate will lead system design, engineering analysis, technical proposal support, and on-site project execution.

• Familiarity with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) licensing and compliance.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and independent.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia and occasionally overseas.
