Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Principal Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to lead customer engagements, review specifications, and drive technical discussions across EPC projects in our regional teams. You will ensure technical alignment, mentor engineers, and coordinate across Mechanical, Software, and Process groups to meet project schedules and quality expectations.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
Experience delivering E&I engineering for industrial or project-based environments.
Hands-on experience with custody transfer metering, analyzer systems, instrumentation, or skid solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead customer engagements and technical leadership across projects.
Act as primary technical contact for E&I matters during project execution.
Review specifications, datasheets and contract documents for technical alignment and compliance.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces across Mechanical, Software, Process, and Project teams.
Support testing, commissioning, and field troubleshooting activities.
