Job summary

Maybank in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced IT professional to manage, implement, support and maintain the Front and Middle Office systems and their interfaces to support the bank's strategic initiatives. You will ensure systems operate reliably for internal and external users, document processes, and guide a team through training and leadership.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have advanced diploma or degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience in the related field for this position.
• Experience in installing and managing applications on Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL 8.x).
• Experience in installing and managing applications such as .NET, HTML5, Java, MSMQ, MS Clustering, Nifi, Apache Tomcat, Storm and IIS.
• Experience in MSSQL or MySQL databases.
• Experience in supporting web services/API integrations, web and mobile technologies.

Responsibilities

• To manage, implement, support and maintain Maybank IB divisions’ Front and Middle Office systems and interfaces.
• To ensure systems operate effectively to support internal and external users.
• To support the Manager and assist in guiding, training and leading team members.
• Support IT daily operations (Systems, Support, Infrastructure) to maintain system availability.
• Troubleshoot, identify and resolve issues promptly and ensure proper documentation and communication between teams and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with Change Management, policies and regulatory guidelines (BNM GPIS, Bursa Malaysia).
• Meet project requirements and timelines, and manage changes for Front, Middle and Back Office systems.
• Collaborate with outsourced vendors to deliver IT services and address audit issues timely.
