Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced software engineer based in Malaysia to contribute to development projects, write and debug code, and collaborate across teams. The role involves solving complex technical challenges, defining requirements, and mentoring junior staff.

You will work with cross-functional teams to review designs, adopt new technologies, and ensure high-quality software delivery. A strong engineering mindset and ownership of critical components are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with at least 2 years in a similar role
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies
• Strong programming and debugging skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication; ownership of complex challenges

• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
• Strong programming and debugging skills
• Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good team collaboration and communication abilities
• Willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges

Other Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
• Relevant certifications or training a plus
