Job summary

DXC Technology seeks a seasoned software engineering leader to guide a high-performing team in designing, developing, and delivering robust software solutions that meet business needs across functional domains.

You will mentor engineers through regular one-on-one sessions and performance reviews, define project requirements with cross-functional partners, drive Agile practices including sprint planning and retrospectives, and ensure high-quality code and architecture while monitoring progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in a similar role.
• Experience managing teams and/or projects.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Strong debugging, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage software projects and resources effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role years of experience in software engineering
• Experience in a managerial role, overseeing teams and/or projects
• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
• Strong programming and debugging skills
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to manage software projects and resources effectively

Other Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
• Relevant certifications or training a plus
