Job summary

Standard Chartered in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced leader to manage end-to-end confirmations for derivatives. You will drive risk controls, regulatory compliance, and strong client service across Front/Middle Office and external counterparties.

The role emphasizes process transformation, automation, and governance, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence in Financial Markets Operations.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in finance/banking with professional experience.
• Knowledge of ISDA/Markets terminology and regulatory considerations preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end confirmations for a broad range of derivative products.
• Oversee lifecycle activities, from drafting to discrepancies resolution.
• Engage with Front Office, Risk, Legal, Compliance and external counterparties.
• Drive automation, governance, and KPI reporting for operational excellence.
• Coach and develop team members while supporting strategic initiatives.
