Job summary

Shopee is seeking a Retail Supply Chain Team Lead to oversee demand planning, inventory health, and supplier performance. You will lead a team of demand planners and collaborate with Commercial, Category, Warehouse, Finance, and suppliers to ensure product availability while maintaining healthy inventory levels.

You will coach and develop the team, manage portfolios, and drive improvements across planning processes and metrics to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, or retail supply chain.
• Experience managing or leading a planning team.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP/WMS/planning systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis and dashboarding is an advantage.
• E-commerce or omnichannel retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of demand planners.
• Manage category/supplier portfolios and ensure consistent planning processes.
• Drive team performance and capability development.
• Own stock coverage, in-stock rate, forecast accuracy, and inventory health.
• Oversee forecasts and replenishment plans for promotions and launches.
• Identify root causes of stockouts, overstock, and aging inventory and drive improvements.
• Lead inventory planning for major campaigns and events.
• Monitor supplier OTIF and maintain supplier scorecards.
• Ensure suppliers meet inbound requirements (booking, ASN/PO accuracy, labeling, packaging).
• Partner with Warehouse/Inbound teams to resolve delivery and compliance issues.
• Provide regular reporting on inventory, availability, OTIF, and supplier compliance.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Category, Finance, and Warehouse to align targets.

Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Inventory

• Own stock coverage, in-stock rate, forecast accuracy, and inventory health.
• Oversee demand forecasts and replenishment plans, considering promotions, seasonality, and new launches.
• Identify and mitigate stockouts, overstock, and aged/slow-moving inventory.
• Lead inventory planning for major campaigns and sales events.
• Monitor supplier OTIF and maintain supplier performance scorecards.
• Identify root causes of supplier issues and drive improvement plans.
• Ensure suppliers comply with inbound requirements such as booking, ASN/PO accuracy, labelling, packaging, and documentation.
• Partner with Warehouse/Inbound teams to resolve delivery and compliance issues.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Provide regular reporting on inventory, availability, OTIF, and supplier compliance.
• Partner with Commercial, Category, Finance, and Warehouse teams to align on inventory targets and operational needs.
• Drive process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirement
