Job summary

BP plc in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Platform Enablement Engineer to lead onboarding, integration, and adoption of Security Hyperplane data products. You will govern data ingestion, lineage, analytics, and observability, working with product, architecture, security, and data governance teams to ensure secure, reusable patterns.

You will drive operational readiness, document evidence, and mentor newer engineers while coordinating with engineering for platform changes and handoffs to Support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in data platforms, data engineering or enablement.
• Experience leading complex onboarding and migration in large enterprises.
• Knowledge of security policies, governance, and auditable implementation evidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex onboarding, integration, migration, configuration, and adoption activities.
• Guide teams in applying approved patterns for data ingestion, analytics, and governance.
• Coordinate platform changes or new capabilities with Engineering and Product teams.
• Validate readiness and produce evidence for architecture and security compliance.
• Develop reusable onboarding guides, migration procedures, and self-service materials.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Enablement Engineers.
• Measure adoption, time-to-value, and reduction of recurring friction.
• Handoff governed implementations to Support with clear ownership and docs.
