Job summary

EY Malaysia is seeking an experienced data migration leader to oversee end-to-end workstreams for large-scale insurance transformation programs. You will advise on migration strategy, governance, operating models, and execution approaches to ensure alignment between source and target systems.

You will drive data readiness, profiling, mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation while defining target architectures and cutover strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end data migration workstreams for large-scale insurance transformation programs.
• Advise clients on data migration strategy, governance, operating model, and execution approaches.
• Assess data readiness, quality, risks, controls, and migration dependencies across transformation initiatives.
• Define target data architecture, migration frameworks, reconciliation methodologies, and cutover strategies.
• Lead data discovery, profiling, mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure alignment between source and target systems.
• Support core insurance platform modernizations, policy administration transformations, and digital enablement initiatives.
• Establish data governance frameworks and migration controls to ensure regulatory compliance and business continuity.
• Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders to define migration requirements, risks, and remediation plans.
• Manage risks, issues, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications across multiple workstreams.
• Present recommendations and project updates to executive leadership and steering committees.
• Support business development activities, proposal development, thought leadership, and practice growth initiatives.
• Mentor managers, consultants, and project teams while contributing to capability development.
