Job summary

Chin Hin Construction Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced professional to lead planning and execution of data centre and industrial projects in Malaysia.

You will define scope, set goals, and manage deliverables while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet timelines and budgets. Ideal candidates bring a civil engineering or construction management background with CCM/CCPM/PMP credentials, 10+ years of sector experience, and willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and Certified Construction Project Manager.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Member of BEM or IEM.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience in data centre/building / industrial projects.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning efforts, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor progress and performance, identifying and addressing issues or risks.
• Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
• Implement effective project management methodologies and best practices to optimize outcomes.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, motivating team members.
• Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Superior/Management.
