Job summary

DayOne seeks an experienced Reliability Leader to oversee data centre operations across regional portfolio. You will drive governance, risk management, and maintenance strategies for mission-critical facilities, coordinating with OEMs and service providers.

Ideal candidates have SME-level expertise in electrical/mechanical infrastructure, extensive incident response experience, and strong stakeholder communication skills, with willingness to travel across Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related discipline.
• SCEM/GMAP/CDCS or similar certificates preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in managing critical infrastructure/equipment, preferably data centres.
• Technical SME for electrical and mechanical infrastructure lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of local/international maintenance standards and parameters.
• In-depth knowledge of local regulations for operations and maintenance management.
• Experience leading incident response, fault diagnosis, RCA, CAPA & major incidents review.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia for site operations and audits.

Responsibilities

• Reliability Governance: oversee the reliability governance framework for the data centre portfolio.
• Maintain risk registers with defined categories and mitigations; evaluate effectiveness regularly.
• Asset management and critical parts management post-RPN methodology.
• Lead problem management: RCA, CAPA, and review of major incidents.
• Maintain DayOne Data Centre Known Error Database (KEDB) for recurring issues.
• Apply PDCA and ISO 50001 energy management practices for performance improvement.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and contractors for high-quality maintenance.
• Mentor site teams and build regional capability in mission-critical operations.
