Requires 5–10 years in data centre ops and 2–3 years in leadership, with certifications such as CDCP, ITIL, Server+, Linux+, Network+, A+, CCNA. Salary RM4,500–RM6,400 per month; on-site role with vendor coordination to ensure uptime; reports to data centre manager.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in Data Centre Operations.
• 2–3 years of leadership / supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of data centre operations, hardware and structured cabling.
• Experience troubleshooting servers, networks and storage equipment.
• Able to work shifts and respond to operational issues promptly.
• Experience in large-scale critical environments is an advantage.
• Certifications: CDCP, ITIL, Server+, Linux+, Network+, A+, CCNA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, relocation, upgrades and decommissioning of IT equipment
• Perform hardware break-fix, troubleshooting and component replacement
• Manage structured cabling, patching and connectivity
• Conduct regular equipment and data centre inspections
• Support scheduled maintenance and change activities
• Manage inventory, RMA, cold spares, equipment and tools
• Coordinate and supervise vendors and site access
• Support incident/change management and provide operational reports
