Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to drive data-driven decision making. You will collect large datasets, build robust data systems, and create dashboards to reveal insights for marketing, sales, and finance teams.

You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations and collaborate across functions to identify growth opportunities. The role requires strong Excel and SQL skills, Power BI experience, and Python scripting, with 5–8 years in analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in data analytics or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate business insights.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data analytics tools to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities based on data insights
• Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations for optimizing business operations
• Automate business intelligence for business insights, trend spotting for business decision making
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in data analysis techniques and tools
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reports as needed
