Job summary

Citi in Malaysia seeks an Asset Servicing Sr Supv to lead a medium-sized team and oversee Corporate Action processing. You’ll ensure timely, accurate reconciliations, guide staff, and drive efficiency and service quality within the unit.

Strong communication and supervisory skills are required to coordinate with related teams, manage performance evaluations, and implement process improvements while safeguarding Citi’s reputation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years relevant experience
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Manage reconciling and processing positions related to Corporate Action events
• Oversee revisions of communications, notifications and postings for Corporate Action or Proxy events
• Supervise a small team consisting of support staff
• Delegate and supervise straightforward tasks
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, discipline, performance evaluations and promotions
• Create and monitor metrics for the team and overall operating efficiency
• Apply knowledge of technical and professional principles to team objectives
• Ensure quality and service, troubleshoot escalated issues and close them
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and controls
• Train staff on new procedures or technology
• Build and maintain business relationships
• Find opportunities to reduce expenses
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies
