Job summary

SD Guthrie Berhad is seeking a Senior Hospitality & Culinary Operations Leader to oversee all kitchen and dining operations across Elaeis Garden’s facilities. You will establish standards, optimise staffing, and drive menu development reflecting Malaysian heritage and Nusantara flavours.

You will collaborate with the CEO and Sales & Marketing to support business growth, manage procurement and inventory, and ensure Halal compliance and top-quality food safety across outlets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in culinary and hospitality roles.
• 3+ years leading culinary operations across multiple outlets.
• Experience in menu development and culinary innovation.
• Experience in weddings, banquets, corporate events and catering operations.
• Experience managing procurement, supplier negotiations, inventory control and food cost optimisation.
• Knowledge of Halal-certified operations and food hygiene requirements.
• Typhoid vaccination where required.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and GHP and Malaysian food hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and oversee all kitchen and culinary operations across Elaeis Garden's facilities.
• Establish consistent culinary standards, SOPs and service quality.
• Optimise manpower deployment and kitchen productivity across locations.
• Develop menus and culinary concepts reflecting Malaysian heritage and Nusantara flavours.
• Support business growth with culinary offerings for events, catering and promotions.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, Halal compliance, GMP and GHP.
• Lead procurement, inventory control and cost management.
• Coach and develop culinary teams across locations.
