Job summary

Hudson Manpower is seeking a skilled Cost Engineer responsible for preparing cost estimates, monitoring project budgets, and supporting cost control activities for engineering and construction projects in Malaysia.

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and have at least 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with project specifications are a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Cost Engineering / Cost Estimation.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or large EPC projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects.
• Analyze project scope, materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Support cost control and budget monitoring.
• Review project plans and specifications for cost requirements.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate cost-related inputs with teams.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with cost estimation standards.
