Job description

Candidate should have demonstrative experience performing costing in a SAP environment and deep understanding of cost accounting concepts. He/she must be organized, a multitasker, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This role will provide support to all downstream manufacturing operations to perform month end inventory costing. To do this monitoring of transaction recording is required during the month to help ensure a smooth month end close process.

Responsibilities

1. Assist locations in executing day to day transactions and reporting to help ensure all information is continuously up to date and month end closing process runs smoothly.
2. Identify areas which require improvement in the transaction recording process and with master data files in SAP.
3. Work with BPM team and local finance teams so they can inform and train other departments who are involve in production orders and inventory movement transaction to ensure they perform their posting correctly
4. Work within SAP to reconcile production, usage, receipts, and shipments.
5. Position manages the daily and period-end accounting process for multiple locations
6. Working closely with Local Finance and SAP team for process improvements and enhancements to the costing process.
7. Assist the Production Cost & Inventory Controller with Ad-Hoc projects as required

Required Skills and Experience

• Five years' experience in inventory costing in SAP environment.
• Has experience in inventory costing and in performing cost analysis
• Possess knowledge of SAP in costing concepts and how other modules impact the costing run
• Understand costing report data sources of how the information is derived in order to help locations in the analysis and troubleshooting
• Attitude of having initiative to deep dive into SAP and documenting the process and steps involve in troubleshooting so SOP can be improved
• Proficient in SAP ERP system
• Capacity to work in a group domain and cooperating with others
• Capacity to perform multiple tasks and deal with different expectations and undertakings simultaneously
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
