Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee contract administration, budgeting, cost estimation, and financial forecasting for materials, labor, and machinery. Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will provide strategic contract advice, manage tenders, and coordinate with Sub-Lessees, Legal, and Business Development on land and project agreements.

You should have a Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying and 10+ years in construction, with expertise in PAM, PWD, and FIDIC

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
Over 10 years of proven experience in construction, infrastructure, or road/highway projects.
Experience managing construction contracts end-to-end, including budgeting and tendering.
Hands-on with PAM, PWD, and FIDIC forms of contract.
Experience with tenancy, sublease, and development agreements and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive project estimates, budgets, and annual costing for materials, labor, and machinery.
Evaluate requirements to recommend contract strategies and tender processes.
Draft, review, and verify tender and quotation documents to identify issues.
Collaborate with PMD, Sub-Lessees, Legal, and Business Development on sub-lease and tender docs.
Ensure all submissions and documentation are substantiated and compliant with obligations.
Identify risks and propose mitigation measures per procurement guidelines.
Work with contractors, consultants, external legal advisors, sub-lessees, and internal divisions.
