Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a contract administrator to implement policies, activities, and procedures within the property development system. The role covers tender processes, contract documentation, financial statements, and coordination across project meetings to ensure timely awards and approvals.

The candidate will pre-qualify contractors, scrutinize rates, manage variation orders, and handle consultants' and contractors' claims, requiring a 3–5 year background in contract administration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in relevant field (as listed)
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in contract administration, preferably in construction, engineering, property development, or related industry

Responsibilities

• Implement policies, activities, and procedures as relevant by the property development system
• Call, check tender documents, close and evaluate tenders, attend tender interviews and make recommendations for award
• Scrutinize rates and monitor contract documentation
• Control and evaluate variation orders and make recommendations for approval
• Process consultants' and contractors' claims and any claims pertaining to project matters
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Prepare final accounts and recommendations for management endorsement
• Attend all project and site meetings as necessary
• Pre-qualify contractors and consultants

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Contract Management
