Job summary

R&C Cergas Teguh Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to lead contract administration for high-rise developments in Malaysia. You will manage tender processes, contract conditions, variations, and claims with consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, cost implications, procurement scheduling, and final account closure, with strong emphasis on PAM/CIDB/JKR contract forms and legal compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
• Experience with high-rise construction projects (residential, commercial or mixed-use).
• Strong knowledge of PAM, CIDB, JKR contract forms and contract law concepts.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all contractual obligations are understood and met by both internal and external parties.
• Maintain proper documentation of all contractual correspondence and changes.
• Participate in tendering process: preparation of tender documents, contract conditions, and bid evaluations.
• Evaluate and process claims for extension of time (EOT), loss and expense, and variations.
• Identify contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare procurement schedule and budgeting, monitor material control and wastages.
• Work with QS and project team to monitor cost implications related to contractual changes.
• Support in final account preparation and closing.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers
