Job summary

Mayland Group of Companies in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee all contractual aspects of property development projects. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, manage RFV and tender processes, and work with project teams to align contracts with budgets and timelines.

The role requires strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills, plus 5–10 years of contract management experience in construction or real estate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in contract management within construction or property development.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of feasibility study and cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts with contractors and stakeholders to align with policies and project goals.
• Manage RFV process and ensure approvals meet project requirements.
• Oversee tender award process, including evaluation, negotiation and contract finalization.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement and finance to align contracts with budgets and timelines.
• Analyze project costs and prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets.
• Monitor cost updates, final accounts and reconciliations to ensure budget alignment.
• Identify contract risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Keep abreast of laws and standards to ensure contracts comply with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation of contract-related issues and handle disputes and variations.

Quantity Surveying / Construction Management degree
