Job summary

MINS BUILDING CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works meet drawings, specifications, quality standards and timelines.

You will monitor progress, safety, and site records while liaising with the project team to address issues promptly. Requirements include a Civil Engineering or Building Construction certificate/diploma, 3+ years of site supervision experience, ability to read drawings,

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction or a related field.
• Candidates with substantial relevant practical experience are encouraged to apply.
• At least 3 years of relevant construction site supervision experience.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and coordinate construction activities independently.
• Good understanding of construction methods, workmanship standards and site safety practices.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to prepare basic site reports and use Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
• Valid CIDB Green Card preferred.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations and monitor work progress against the construction programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors, workers, suppliers and deliveries to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Check construction works against approved drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies and obtain clarification before proceeding.
• Monitor workmanship and arrange timely rectification of defects or non-compliant works.
• Plan and monitor manpower, materials and equipment requirements to minimise delays and wastage.
• Coordinate site inspections with the project team, consultants and relevant parties.
• Monitor site safety and housekeeping, report unsafe conditions and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain daily site records, progress reports, delivery records and inspection documentation.
• Report progress, site issues and potential delays to the Project Manager or Management.
• Support completion inspections, defect rectification and project handover.
