Job summary

Asian Pac Holdings Berhad (APHB) is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to drive construction and development initiatives. You will define scope, coordinate with consultants and internal teams, and manage progress against schedule and budget.

You will ensure quality, compliance with contract drawings and authority rules while maintaining thorough project documentation and stakeholder communication. A background in building or civil engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or advanced diploma in building/civil/structure engineering, architecture, construction management or planning.
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in construction and project management in property development industry.
• Adequate knowledge on construction management, project administration and budgeting.
• Theoretical and practical project management knowledge.
• Knowledge in engineering design detailing and ability to make quick decisions on contractual and site matters.
• Knowledge in statutory and regulatory requirements, and guidelines on property development.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, resourceful and capable of working independently.
• Team player with ability to interact with all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining project scope and objectives with stakeholders and ensure feasibility.
• Plan with Project Leader to develop a detailed project plan and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with external consultants and internal teams during design and development.
• Support in developing comprehensive project plans for clients and staff.
• Liaise with land office and local authorities on land matters and developments.
• Ensure quality control, compliance with drawings, specs and authority requirements.
• Check drawings for consistency with consultants and contractual specs.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Monitor site progress and control budget, cost and timeframe.
• Ensure resources and materials are efficiently utilized.
