Job summary

PEMBINAAN TEGUH MAJU SDN BHD is seeking a Senior Contract Executive to manage all contractual and commercial aspects of construction projects from tendering to final accounts. You will ensure contract terms are administered, risks are managed, and costs are controlled in line with client and company requirements.

You will oversee contract administration, cost management, and claims handling, coordinating with clients, consultants, and suppliers to optimize commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in quantity surveying, constructions management, civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in contract administration or quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Hands-on experience in pre- and post-contract stages for medium to large-scale projects.
• Familiar with standard forms of contract (PAM/JKR).
• Strong knowledge of cost control, tendering, claims and contract law.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract administration from tendering to final accounts and ensure proper terms compliance.
• Prepare and review contract documents including letters of award, subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Maintain records of correspondence, instructions and contractual communications.
• Monitor project milestones, progress claims and submission of deliverables.
• Identify and negotiate variations, EOTs and other contractual claims.
• Support budgeting, cash flows and procurement schedules for projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and forecasts; monitor expenditures vs. budget.
