Job summary

Sunway Fintech Services in Malaysia is seeking a Compliance & Risk professional to ensure regulatory alignment and robust governance across the organization.

You will conduct risk and compliance assessments, develop frameworks, and guide staff on privacy, cybersecurity, and control practices. Collaboration with auditors and regulators will be needed.

This role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to translate complex regulations into practical controls.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in a related field (law, management, finance or accounting).
• 3–5 years' experience in compliance, risk or internal audit.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Strong writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, audit and monitor risk, compliance and governance across functions.
• Develop, implement and improve risk management frameworks and controls.
• Review new products and initiatives from a compliance perspective.
• Provide guidance and training on compliance and cybersecurity best practices.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors and external parties as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of PDPA, GDPR, ISO standards and CCRIS where applicable.
