Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia, a cornerstone of asset servicing with over 1,200 professionals, is seeking a Senior Client Operations Officer in the Payment Services team. You will ensure timely processing of Cash Payments, both STE and manual, while mitigating risk through robust procedures in a Europe-facing environment.

The role requires coordinating with managers and peers, logging enquiries, and coaching colleagues to ensure cross-training across funds.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education with relevant background.
• Knowledge in different investment instruments.
• Prior experience in banking operations or back office.
• Portray leadership skill.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Cash Payment activities are processed timely under STE environment and manual payments.
• Maintain accuracy of processing in accordance with CACEIS expectations.
• Resolve payment queries in a timely manner, including STE and manual payments.
• Posting of payments in accordance with procedures.
• Acting as primary checker to ensure quality of output maintained per SLA.
• Provide coaching to other team members to ensure cross-training of all fund-related aspects.
• Maintain efficient communication channels with managers, coordinators and team members.
• Ensure effective logging and resolution/follow-up of enquiries and escalate queries/problems within agreed timescales.

As a Senior Client Operations Officer in Payment Services team, you are responsible to ensure that all Cash Payment related activities are processed in a timely and efficient manner utilising processes and procedures, which mitigate and minimise risk across the business.

You will be supporting Europe region, with shift hours between 3:00PM and 12:00AM or 4:00PM and 1:00AM.

What will you do?

• To ensure all payments under STE environment are completed within the agreed timeframe, including manual payments.
• To ensure accuracy of processing in accordance CACEIS Investor Services' expectation.
• Resolution of payment queries in a timely manner, including STE and manual payments.
• Posting of payments in accordance with procedures.
• Acting as primary checker to ensure quality of output in maintained per the stipulated SLA.
• Provide coaching to other team members to ensure cross-training of all aspects of funds in order to gain satisfactory cover.
• Maintain efficient communication channels with managers, coordinators and team members.
• Ensure effective logging and resolution / follow up of enquiries and liaise with appropriate parties to resolve / elevate queries / problems within agreed timescales.
