Job summary

SkyeChip Berhad is seeking Senior/Staff/Principal Engineers to lead circuit design for high-speed interfaces and mixed-signal blocks in cutting-edge CMOS tech. The role involves architecture studies, simulations, and close collaboration with mask designers to deliver physical designs and silicon bring-up.

You will mentor teams and manage deliveries across RTL, DV, and packaging, while aligning schedules with business development for future projects.

Qualifications

• Degree/Master/PhD in Electrical and Electronics.
• Experience 5–15 years in IO circuit design.
• Proficient in FinFET tech and EDA tools.
• Experience with DDR4/5, HBM3/4, LPDDR4/5X, UCIE, MIPI, LVDS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-speed interfaces and complex mixed-signal circuits using cutting-edge CMOS tech and EDA tools.
• Design IO blocks such as compensation circuit, reference voltage, transmitters and receivers.
• Run SI analysis and create IBIS/IBIS-AMI models.
• Timing closure using Prime-Time or equivalent methods.
• Collaborate with mask designers for physical design and silicon bring-up.
