Job summary

Horizon Construction Overseas (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an accounting professional to manage daily cash flow updates, post daily system entries and issue payment vouchers. The role covers petty cash, intercompany transactions, and month-end closing to ensure accuracy of expenses and accruals.

You will liaise with auditors, bankers and tax agents, update cash flow statements and bank reconciliations, and assist in year-end audits, tax queries and budgeting exercises.

Responsibilities

• Update daily cash flow transaction and make sure sufficient fund for payment due
• Perform daily accounting entry to system
• Issue payment voucher and update official receipt according to payment due and fund receive from customer
• Petty cash record and reconciliation
• Monitor intercompany transaction and payment arrangement
• Month end account closing, make sure all expenses and accrual take in to account
• Liaise with auditor, banker, tax agent, outsourcing accounting party
• To update cash flow statement and bank reconciliation.
• To assist in year-end audit, tax query and budget exercise.
• To prepare monthly debtor aging and statement
• To perform stock count as at required
• Perform other ad hoc duties and assignments as assigned by the management from time to time.
