Tenaga Nasional Berhad is seeking a Lead Analyst Capacity Planning to enhance capacity planning capability and performance through applied research. You will conduct desktop analyses, benchmark models, and provide independent technical views on capacity planning matters.

The role requires a minimum of five years in related fields, with at least three years in system planning, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or related domains.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, operations research or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years working experience with 3 years' experience in system planning or related fields.

Mansioni

• Conduct desktop analysis, research and benchmarking to enhance model and assumptions.
• Produce independent views and technical advice on capacity planning related matters.
• Conduct market research & intelligence gathering on policy, industry analyses and stakeholder inputs.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends, new technologies and MESI requirements related to supply side modelling.
• Translate complex concepts and analysis to practical applications and strategies in refining inputs and assumptions.
• Build collaboration with internal and external scientific/research agencies/market analysts.
• Produce the ISP Input, Assumptions and Scenarios Report.
• Provide expert insights on long-term supply outlook, integration of new supply and resources, policies and standards.
• Support Government’s energy transition initiatives through joint studies and industry groups.
• Maintain stakeholder trust through clear, concise, and high quality written and verbal communication.
