Job summary

Hexagon AB is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer based in ASEAN to collaborate with sales and engineering teams, driving pre- and post-sales technical activities for Hexagon Production Software solutions. You will support a broad range of markets in the ASEAN region, requiring international travel and deep machining expertise.

Key focus areas include CAD/CAM, NC code simulation, and machine tool compatibility across aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Engineering or technical school with substantial CNC programming experience.
7+ years in CNC machine tool industry, CAM products, and related departments.
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software with post processor and complex machining applications.
Experience running CNC machines (Milling, Lathe, Mill-Turn, Swiss) and on-machine measurements is advantageous.
Strong network in Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Mould & Die sectors and with machine tool builders.
Fluency in English; additional SEA/Japanese/Korean language skills are a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site implementations and post-sales support for ESPRIT, EDGECAM, and NCSIMUL.
Provide pre-sales technical activities and training for customers and partners.
Support activities across ASEAN Pacific and travel internationally.
Develop and validate machining programs for high-precision applications (5-axis, mill-turn).
Configure post processors, automation workflows and macros for customer needs.
Assist in design and execution of AI/ML software solutions as part of the product suite.
