Job summary

Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage procurement execution for multiple market sectors including Industrial, Commercial, and Healthcare. You will ensure supply readiness, negotiate terms, and maintain supplier relationships to support production and project needs.

Applicants with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in procurement are encouraged to apply. Fresh graduates are welcome. This is a full-time on-site role in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement or related roles preferred.
• Good communication and proactive problem-solving skills; English proficiency essential.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials and services per Plexus SOPs and customer's contract to support requirements.
• Expedite materials to fulfill production requirements, customer upsides, NPIs and transitions.
• Maintain supplier partnerships to ensure flawless support.
• Optimize inventory orders and shipping modes for efficiency.
• Inventory control to minimize excess while meeting production plans.
• Manage excess and obsolete materials per SOP and customer contract.
• Ensure timely placement and management of all purchases to mitigate demand gyrations.
• Provide visibility on material availability to Planner.
• Handle MRB issues and any tasks assigned by management.
