Job summary

Shell is seeking a Senior Business Analyst within the IGU BE team to drive end-to-end ERP change delivery across ADC, Blueprint, BG SAP ERPs and Maximo, partnering with business processes and IT to achieve simplification, automation and performance.

You will own the ISM governance, lead Retrofit R2.2 testing, and work with PO and process experts to stabilize solutions post-go-live, ensuring security and access management alignment across the organization.

Job description

The IGU (Integrated Gas and Upstream) Business Excellence (BE) team is the Business Center of Excellence who act as catalyst to drive value delivery and improve business performance through designing, improving, and embedding Shell business processes with global process owners into Enterprise Resource Planning solutions (ADC, Blueprint, BGSAP and Maximo) and relevant Connected Applications. We apply E2E business lens to ensure efficient process integration by applying our deep experiences and skills in ERP solutions, Shell business processes and data model, organization change and business project management. Our scope is multi-functional where the team support GPOs and business processes ranging from Finance, Contracting and Procurement, Supply Chain, Asset Management (AMS), and Capital Projects and Wells. This Senior Business Analyst position sits within the Business Excellence Sustain and Improve team. A key dimension of the Sustain and Improve team is to drive E2E delivery of ERPs (ADC, Blueprint, BGSAP/Maximo and Connected Applications) system change requests in partnership with the Businesses, Functions and IT with ultimate objectives to achieve simplification, automation and performance. The team reviews, assesses and generates new ideas, translates Business/Functions requirements into a high-level process design and IT design in partnership with the relevant Process Owner, IT Delivery, and IT Architecture teams. In this role, the incumbent will be working closely Process Integration Leads within Business Excellence Sustain and Improve team and support them in managing the IGU ERPs Integrated Support Model (ISM) ensuring all the ISM Networks by process pillars are executed efficiently and effectively. This role will also take on the following scopes: IGU ERP Access Management/Security business focal point role, working closely with IT-Enterprise Access Management (EAM) team to ensure evergreening of the business roles/entitlements in SAM catalogues IGU ERP testing lead for any technical upgrade or release upgrade activities in IGU ERP.

Purpose and Accountabilities:

Business Focal Point owning and evergreening the IGU ERPs (ADC, Blueprint, BG) Job Archetypes Model and Governance and work with IT-EAM team to ensure all Access Management related activities including SAM control & campaign are executed timely and achieve compliance For ADC, provide advisory to ADC PO when needed cover the SAM design and SAM way of working to ensure operational efficient post BAU. For Cutover, support the SAM role catalogue deployment and Mass user load. Post Go-live working closely with PO, Process Experts and key OU security focal points to define fit to purpose Business role & revision For BLP and BG - Support BAO to manage the BE Upstream/IG ERP Job Archetypes Governance Model. Work closely with IT EAM team to achieve top quartile service level for access provisioning activities. For OU build/ OU exit ensure SAP SAM integration design impact assessed and leverage support from IT to delivery on time with quality. Drive stabilization of S4 ADC (After hyper-care & transition for R2.0 ARU2, T&T, R2.1, US) & Sustain Blueprint/BGSAP through Integrated Support Model (ISM) in Upstream/IG Assets. Work closely with ADC Deploy in the transition to BAU based on the QC3 ISM Readiness list cover process knowledge upskilling, SU, APFP nomination, hyper care support. These networks span across process area and organization/teams ranging from Asset Management, Supply Chain, Project & Wells, HM and Finance. Working closely with IT SOM to improve service delivery performance for ADC, BLP and BG ERP. For ADC, through the ISM call – work with IT-SOM and APFPs in live assets to quickly stabilize ADC solution after hypercare period. This is measured with stabilisation of the ticket count. Owner of the ISM toolkit/materials, drive ever greening effort and continuously improve the quality and usability of the toolkit/materials – ADC ISM and Blueprint/BG Portal, Locator Tools, Dashboards. Lead the testing activities for Retrofit R2.2 activities (including Technical Upgrade). This include working with Process Integration Experts in BE team, ISM networks and functions to establish the testing scope, ensuring test scripts readiness, scheduling/tracking the testing activities, and monitor defects closure to ensure UAT Exit Criteria is met.

Dimensions:

• System involved – ADC, Blueprint and BG SAP ERPs, including two step-out instances (Nigeria)
• ISM Global scope: ~ 800 ISM users, and ~ 100 network calls/meetings annually.
• This ISM scope span across CP functions, Finance Operations, Shell Operated Ventures and Non-Operated Ventures. ~ 25-30 Ventures involved.
• Need to work with various Process Expert teams outside BE team (like CP and FO) to drive ISM
• Manage Upstream/IG Job Archetypes Model and Governance – Blueprint/BG user base (13k users) & ADC (1k Users) spread across multiple assets (15-20 key assets) and global functions (CP and Finance).
