Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to support day-to-day activities in a shared services area, gaining practical exposure to business analysis and testing.

You will assist in gathering requirements, preparing user stories, test scenarios and reporting, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure traceability and quality. This role offers learning opportunities in a dynamic environment in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Software Engineering or related fields. Candidates should be in their final semester of study.
• Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC); basic knowledge of testing concepts (SIT, UAT, defect lifecycle); strong attention to detail and documentation skills; good communication skills (written and verbal); ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Nice‑to‑Have: Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar; basic SQL or data analysis knowledge; exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology; experience with process flow tools (e.g., Visio).

Responsibilities

Identify, log and track defects using Azure DevOps tool. Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes. Support regression testing and ensure system stability.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation for requirements and test artifacts. Prepare basic reports on test progress, defects and issues. Ensure proper version control and traceability between requirements and test cases.

About the Role
