Job summary

Ambition is seeking an experienced Business Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to partner with business stakeholders, translate needs into clear documentation, and drive automation within insurance processes. You will shape data requirements for quotations, policies, and claims, and support end-to-end process improvements using Agile and DevOps approaches.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in insurance analytics, strong problem-solving, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and business project delivery practices.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define product and process requirements.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or process simplification.

• Define and document product-related data requirements for quotations, policies, claims, and other insurance functions.
• Support rules-based automation and end-to-end business process optimization.
• Configure products, workflows, and business rules within digital platforms and systems.
• Work closely with technology teams, vendors, and delivery partners to ensure successful project implementation.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and secure alignment on delivery decisions and project priorities.
• Contribute to Agile and DevOps-based project delivery environments.
