Ryt Bank is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data team in Malaysia. This role emphasizes value-based judgement, technical depth, and business intuition in a fast-paced environment where data is a strategic asset.

Qualifications

Domain expertise in banking or highly regulated financial environments.
3–5 years exposure to SQL and advanced analytics modelling.
Proven Python experience for data analysis and automation.
Hands-on data stack with dbt, Airflow, and cloud data warehouses.
3–5 years of experience building reports with Tableau/Power BI.

Responsibilities

Design and scale scalable analytics solutions that support critical business, risk, and product decisions.
Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical problem domains and deliver actionable insights.
Perform rigorous analysis across domains (customer behaviour, unit economics, risk signals) to drive decisions.
Define KPIs with senior stakeholders and establish analytical frameworks at department and bank-wide levels.
Mentor junior analysts and lead by example.
Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to advance analytics initiatives.
Evolve data operating model, tooling, and governance within the bank.
