Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Production Manager for its bakery operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will lead a production team of 10+ people, develop daily/weekly plans, and ensure high-quality output across all products.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in bakery production, 3+ years in team management, and strong SOP development skills. This role requires hands-on leadership, problem solving, and a focus on efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the bakery industry.
• 3+ years of production team management experience.
• Proven experience managing a production team of 10+ people.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily and weekly production plans based on forecasts and store requirements.
• Oversee production operations and ensure outcomes meet brand standards and quantities.
• Maintain strict quality control by following and updating SOPs.
• Develop and continuously improve production SOPs to ensure consistent results.
• Manage capacity by adjusting plans, manpower and equipment for demand changes.
• Monitor raw material usage, wastage and yield to improve cost efficiency.
• Manage equipment and respond to production issues promptly.
• Plan manpower and shifts to ensure efficient utilization.
• Provide hands-on training and develop key team members.
• Monitor production performance and drive productivity improvements.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance.
• Identify root causes of issues and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with store operations, purchasing and management.
• Support new store openings and product launches.
