Job summary

CUCKOO International (MAL) BERHAD in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Software Developer to build scalable backend systems and high‑performance APIs powering web and mobile apps.

You will design, implement, and maintain backend services using C# and ASP.NET, work in an Agile environment, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver robust features with quality code and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 4+ years of C# and ASP.NET development.
• Strong SQL Server and T‑SQL experience.
• Knowledge of SOLID, OOP, and clean coding.
• Experience with .NET Framework 4.7–NET 8.
• Familiar with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD.
• Familiar with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to React Native or cross‑platform mobile is a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver robust backend systems using C# and ASP.NET.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs for web and mobile platforms.
• Enhance and optimize existing systems through refactoring and performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective, timely solutions.
• Work closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Contribute ideas to improve system architecture, performance, and user experience.
• Maintain clear documentation and share knowledge within the team.
