Job summary

CUCKOO International (MAL) BERHAD in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Software Developer to build scalable backend systems and high‑performance APIs powering web and mobile apps.

You will design, implement, and maintain backend services using C# and ASP.NET, work in an Agile environment, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver robust features with quality code and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 4+ years of C# and ASP.NET development.
• Strong SQL Server and T‑SQL experience.
• Knowledge of SOLID, OOP, and clean coding.
• Experience with .NET Framework 4.7–NET 8.
• Familiar with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD.
• Familiar with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to React Native or cross‑platform mobile is a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver robust backend systems using C# and ASP.NET

Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs for web and mobile platforms

Enhance and optimize existing systems through refactoring and performance improvements

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

4+ years of hands‑on experience in C# and ASP.NET development

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T‑SQL

Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices

Proven experience with:

.NET Framework (4.7 to .NET 8)

Unit testing and debugging

Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins)

Familiar with microservices architecture (preferred)

Exposure to React Native or cross‑platform mobile development is a plus

Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments

Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
