Job summary

Bimmer Dynamic Sdn Bhd, an established BMW specialist workshop in Cheras, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanic to join the team. You will oversee daily workshop operations, diagnose vehicle problems, and perform complex repairs to high standards.

The role requires 4–5 years in an automotive workshop, a valid driving license, and strong BMW diagnostic skills. You will guide junior technicians and ensure quality work while maintaining a safe, organized environment.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of automotive workshop experience.

Responsibilities

Job description

An established BMW Specialist Workshop based in Taman Rakan, Cheras, operating since 2009, is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanic to join the team. The successful candidate will play an important role in overseeing daily workshop operations, diagnosing vehicle problems, carrying out complex repair work, and guiding the team to ensure all jobs are completed efficiently and in accordance with the workshop's quality standard.

Key responsibilities

Carry out inspection, diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of BMW/Continental vehicles.

Diagnose vehicle problems accurately using appropriate diagnostic equipment and identify fault codes.

Determine the root cause of vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement of spare parts.

Perform major and minor mechanical repairs.

Check completed repair work to ensure vehicles are safe and meet workshop quality standards, and completed within expected timeframe.

Test-drive vehicles to verify reported problems and confirm repairs have been successfully completed.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians.

Lead and supervise junior technicians during daily workshop operations

Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.

About you

Minimum 4–5 years of working experience in an automotive workshop environment.

Minimum SPM, SKM Level 3 or higher education level.

Valid driving license and ability to test-drive customers' vehicles when required.

Strong experience in BMW diagnostic and troubleshooting.

Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.

Strong technical knowledge and practical hands-on experience.

Able to lead a team of technicians with demonstrated leadership ability.

Able to work independently and under pressure with positive working attitude.

Responsible, disciplined, punctual and committed to completing assigned work.

Good communication and teamwork skills with ability to communicate technical problems clearly.
