Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of mechanical design or automation machine development experience.
• Experience in designing high-speed terminal stitching, gang insertion or connector assembly equipment preferred.
• Experience in connector/electronics/semiconductor manufacturing desirable; senior roles require leadership and full life-cycle experience.
• Proficient in mechanical design, tolerances, material selection and engineering calculations.
• Proficient with 3D CAD tools such as CREO Direct or SolidWorks; motion simulation/CAE tools a plus.

Aufgaben

• Participate in the development of automation equipment, assembly machines, tooling and inspection systems for connector manufacturing.
• Design reliable and cost-effective automation machines, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
• Develop high-speed terminal stitching and insertion equipment with precise control features.
• Perform mechanical design activities including 3D modelling, drawings, tolerances and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Process Engineering, Electrical Controls, Manufacturing, Quality and suppliers.
• Lead machine-development projects from concept to production handover, achieving targets.
