Job summary

Amphenol TCS Malaysia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to spearhead automation equipment development. You will drive concepts, 3D models and detailed drawings for high-speed connector assembly systems.

The role requires strong leadership, CAD proficiency (CREO/SolidWorks) and hands-on involvement across the full design lifecycle from feasibility to validation and production transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in mechanical related field.
• Strong background in machine design and automation.
• Experience with high-speed terminal stitching or connector equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead machine-development projects from concept to production handover.
• Design reliable, cost-effective automation machines meeting cycle targets.
• Collaborate with Design, Process, Electrical, Manufacturing and suppliers to define specs.
