CGS International Securities Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Associate/Associate for Regional Operations to manage settlements across equities, SGX and foreign markets, and to coordinate daily payments to clients and brokers.
The role requires collaboration with the team to ensure timely settlements, respond to client inquiries, and support daily contract and trade generation across institutional and retail segments. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Involve in all aspects of settlement for Equities Operations especially SGX & Foreign markets.
Prepare payments related to daily settlement to clients or brokers.
Assist team leader/ section head to ensure timely and efficient settlement for daily transaction.
Attend to clients’ queries relating to settlement and work closely with various stake holder within CGSI.
Execute daily generations of contracts and contra.
Manage daily trade reconciliations to ensure all stocks, quantity and settlement amount match with both broker and client confirmation.
Create new stocks, product code and charges.
Append / insert new trades for both institutional and retail.
Update / create commission based on request from retail management team who represent TR/Remisier and middle office for institutional client.
Rectification of nostro breaks if any.
Participant in UAT testing if any.
Able to bring improvements on process flows and efficiency to the department, eg. in managing volumes, lowers fails and breaks, etc.
Able to collaborate with other departments in driving projects.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, CGSI policies & procedures, clients’ mandates and market conventions and guidelines.
Develop network to ensure responsible communications with clients, locally and internationally.
Any other responsibilities/ tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.
Candidate MUST be willing to work during Malaysia Public Holiday to support regional functions.
Preferred to have at least 1 year of relevant experiences.
Possesses at least a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant studies.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Background in settlement, contract processing and industry knowledge is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin/ Cantonese is a plus
