Job summary

Techware Group in Melaka is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Assembly Technician for semiconductor precision engineering. The role involves assembling mechanical and electrical components, following team leads, and supporting design verifications.

You will ensure timely completion of work packages, maintain technical documentation, and participate in continual improvement initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen, with structured training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing/precision engineering.
• Experience in electrical assembly.
• Able to understand basic electrical drawing, schematic & GD&T.
• Demonstrate leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal/communication skills.
• Involvement in continual improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Kaizen).

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Team Lead, supervisor and engineer.
• Carry out design verifications/validations with engineers.
• Ensure timely completion of team deliverables for work packages and milestones.
• Architect solutions together with project specialists.
• Resolve escalated technical issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for planning/execution.
• Provide technical and program-level support and guidance to the team.
• Receive structured training to close competency gaps.
