Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks an Assembly & Decorative Production Manager to lead end-to-end assembly and decorative operations at an EMS site, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, cost competitiveness, and strict compliance with EHS and customer/industry standards (IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, RoHS/REACH). This role owns production performance and drives continuous improvement and line stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years in high-mix EMS manufacturing.
• 3–5 years in assembly and spray painting/decorative operations.
• Experience with IPC-A-610, PFMEA, SPC, APQP/PPAP.
• Familiarity with RoHS/REACH.
• Proficiency in MES/ERP and real-time performance tracking.
• Languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day output for sub-assembly and box-build lines.
• Balance capacity vs. demand; set line loading, takt time, and staffing plans.
• Ensure OEE, UPH, and on-time delivery targets.
• Oversee painting/decorative processes and supplier management.
• Enforce IPC-A-610 and other quality controls; drive CAPA.
• Implement Lean concepts and digitize with MES dashboards.
• Host customer audits and present readiness and improvement roadmaps.
