EXCEL HERBAL INDUSTRIES SDN BHD is seeking a seasoned packaging and product design lead to head a graphic design team in Malaysia. You will drive the creative direction, oversee end-to-end packaging projects and ensure outputs meet brand, production and commercial requirements across packaging formats.

With at least 5 years in packaging design within manufacturing or FMCG, you will guide production-ready artwork, collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders, and deliver high-quality designs on

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in graphic design.
• Experience supervising or managing a design team.
• Strong experience in product packaging design (boxes, sachets, bottles, labels, pouches).
• Good knowledge of printing processes, dielines, colour management and pre-press production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and other design software.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating packaging and product design experience.

Lead the development of compelling packaging and product designs across boxes, sachets, bottles, labels and pouches. You will guide a design team, shape creative direction and ensure high-quality outputs that meet brand, production and commercial requirements across packaging-focused industries.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in graphic design, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical or supplement industries.

Previous experience supervising or managing a design team.

Strong experience in product packaging design, particularly boxes, sachets, bottles, labels and pouches.

Good knowledge of printing processes, dielines, colour management and pre-press production.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and other relevant design software.

Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.
