Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst in Kuala Lumpur. This senior individual-contributor role ensures accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of AR across multi-entity platforms and currencies.

You will own complex billing, intercompany reconciliations, and AR month-end close, while partnering with Treasury, Billing, and Audit teams to drive process improvements and controls in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or general accounting, ideally within a shared services or multi-entity, multinational environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite experience strongly preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex reconciliations) & comfortable with large, multi-entity data sets.

Responsibilities

• Own invoicing and billing process for high-complexity customer and intercompany arrangements across multiple entities and currencies.
• Review and approve cash application; resolve complex unapplied cash and payment discrepancies in NetSuite.
• Own the monthly AR sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliation across multiple entities; resolve variances.
• Lead aging reports and collections; escalate delinquent accounts as needed and drive resolution.
• Review and approve customer credit memos, adjustments, and write-offs above Analyst thresholds; ensure internal controls.
• Own intercompany billing, reconciliation, and elimination across multi-entity structure with Global Close team.
• Lead AR month-end close deliverables including accruals, bad debt, and management reports.
• Primary escalation point for complex customer billing inquiries; coordinate with Sales, Contracts, and Legal to resolve disputes.
• Serve as audit contact for AR matters with clean, well-organized documentation.
• Identify and lead process improvements and automation to reduce manual work.
• Mentor AR Analysts and provide QA and development support.
• Support ad hoc finance analyses like DSO trends and aging reporting.
