Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group partners with a leading IT organisation in Kuala Lumpur to hire a Manager for Application Support & Operations. This role oversees production operations, drives stability, and champions continuous improvement across enterprise applications.

You will lead L1–L3 support, manage incidents, and coordinate governance, with a strong emphasis on automation, ITIL practices, and cross‑functional collaboration with development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level IT/CS/Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum years of experience in Application/Production Support and IT Operations.
• Experience leading technical support or operations teams and managing incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of application support engineers across L1–L3 support.
• Oversee incident management, RCA, and preventive measures.
• Drive operational excellence through governance, KPIs, and service levels.
• Coach and develop the team, conduct performance reviews.
• Collaborate with development/engineering for root cause analysis and fixes.
• Champion automation and AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality.
